Insomnie is an independent fashion brand I created and ran in Brazil. I owned the brand end to end, from concept to fulfillment, combining product design, visual identity, content, and e-commerce to launch exclusive drops and grow a highly engaged community. The brand is currently on a short hiatus.
As a Product Designer / UI Specialist, I was part of an Accenture squad embedded with Vivo, partnering closely with a UX-focused designer (Carmen de Andrade) and collaborating with Product, Engineering, UX Writing and Stakeholders.

Brand Strategy & Research — Researched trends and audience behavior using WGSN and online benchmarks, plus in-person store research while traveling, to guide seasonal concepts and drops.
Visual Identity & Art Direction — Built the brand identity and creative direction across digital, print, and product, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.
Illustration & Product Graphics — Directed graphics and collaborated with artists, and also designed original illustrations and assets for apparel, merch, stickers, posters, mugs and other products.
Content System — Created the social design system (feed and story templates), tone of voice, and content cadence, including art direction, writing, and publishing.
Photo and Campaign Production — Developed concepts for photoshoots, directed styling and composition, and photographed selected content when needed.
E-commerce and Merchandising — Built and maintained the store experience, creating product pages, descriptions, and collections optimized for conversion. (Shopify, Nuvemshop)
Packaging — Designed packaging inserts, stickers, mailer assets to strengthen the unboxing experience.
Production & Operations — Managed supplier relationships and production for custom pieces, coordinated inventory and storage, and ensured all items were sourced and produced in Brazil with fair wages.
Customer Experience — Owned support and post-purchase communication, handling issues, refunds, and relationship-building with customers.

Grew Instagram from 0 to 27k followers at peak, maintaining 22.3k even after ~1.5 years on hiatus
Generated ~90% of online sales through Instagram, supported by strong engagement and community demand
Shipped 1000+ products, including limited drops, collaborations, and repeat launches

Ran a lean operation without sacrificing consistency, from design system to production to fulfillment
Building a business and community from zero was a meaningful challenge that demanded patience, consistency, and discipline.
It pushed me to operate across areas outside my comfort zone, and gave me perspectives I still carry into my work today.
